MOORING ROPES OF POLYDACRON HAVE A DOUBLE CONSTRUCTION: CORE OF 'HSCP' YARN COVERED WITH HIGH PERFORMANCE POLYESTER. THIS PRODCUCTION PROCESS - POLYESTER ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE STRAND YARNS - ENSURES AN EXCELLENT EXTERNAL ABRASION RESISTANCE AND AN INTERNAL HEAT-FRICTION RESISTANCE.
THE RELATIVE DENSITY OF THE ROPE IS LESS THAN 1 - SO THE ROPE FLOATS IN SEA WATER.
THE FIBRES DO NOT ABSORB WATER AND RAMAIN FLEXIBLE WHEN WET.
DRY AND WET ROPE HAVE THE SAME BREAKING STRENGTH
