THE RELATIVE DENSITY OF THE ROPE IS 1.1 (approx). WHAT MEANS THAT THE ROPE HAS NEUTRAL BOUYANCY IN SEA WATER. FIBERS DO NOT ABSORB WATER AND REMAIN FLEXIBLE WHEN WET. DRY AND WET ROPE HAVE SAME BREAKING STRENGTH. |
